CORONAVIRUS - COVID-19
"Unprecedented, unknown, unknowable –
this is our new normal for now."
Fran Hall - Director of The Good Funeral Guide
These are challenging times.
As a Civil Celebrant, my focus remains on serving families in their time of need.
THINGS ARE CHANGING EVERY DAY.
At the moment, services are still limited to small congregations.
It is so incredibly difficult for families to choose who should attend.
My thoughts remain with hundreds, potentially thousands of families
who have been affected by the pandemic over the past months.
Planning and attending a funeral service is a rite of passage
for those left behind and such a necessary part of the grieving process.
To be limited to such a small number of people at a funeral service is heartbreaking.
May you and your loved ones continue to be safe.
NB Please speak to your Funeral Director about current guidelines
and restrictions when planning your service.
I feel for the many 'nearly-weds' who've had to postpone their special day.
I hope that 2021 is a year full of joy and celebration for us all.
